Born in Haines City, Florida, Amber Denise Streeter had singing in her sights from her earliest days. Since then-10-year-old Sevyn Streeter appeared on Showtime at the Apollo in 1996, she has made a name for herself as a performer, songwriter and explorer of R&B’s outer limits.
